Retirement do!

Bit of a get together on a cool afternoon on the plot to celebrate my retirement!
Jack Daniels helped to keep out the cold, a suitable spell kept the rain away!

Roll on Spring!

The polytunnel is pretty much prepared for the new season. The long wooden planters are for basil!

Let it rain!

At last I've managed to rid myself of a leaky water butt and get three water tight ones linked! It's suprising just how much water I can catch from such a small (5ft x 5ft) roof.
The leaky butt has been sawn down for a carrot growing tub!
