A determined scrumper (fruit thief) has scaled our wire fence with some agility according to an eye witness! He was after discovery apples and victoria plums. Lets hope he gets stomach ache, especially as lots of the plums have very large maggots!
He leaps up and grabs the top of the concrete fence post, places his foot on the gate fastener and swing over the wire!
Some very thick grease was placed on the top of the post! He tried again, eauk!!
Don't think he made it over! This guy is so clever he tried to wash grease off in the river. I had to clean the handrail, but it was worth it. I'd loved to have seen his face!
